Crossroads Addiction Recovery

I feel God calling me to start a recovery ministry from addictions. It will be called Crossroads Recovery. I need your prayers as we begin this very important ministry. I know God wants to use my experience to reach others who have addiction problems. I am so grateful for God's grace in my life as he continues to restore me more into His likeness. God has placed a special place in my heart for those in bondage to any self defeating addiction. This is something I've already been doing for sometime now, just giving it a name. My responsibilities as pastor of NuBrew will not change. This is a ministry of Nubrew Church. Please see the video link that explains the purpose of the ministry.

Iron Sharpens Iron Men's Group Updates

We have started a new men's discipleship program for men called High Quest Men on a Mission. This is a part of the Iron Sharpens Iron group that meets at pastor Rich's house on wed nights. It's excellent material. We have around 8 guys attending.
The other group of Iron guys are studying Striving For Absolute Purity at Dustin Wadley's home. This group is about accountability and helping men in areas of sexual integrity and living transformed and renewed lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is also an excellent group.
Both groups meet on Wednesday nights at 7PM.

PROVEN MEN - To experience lasting freedom and victory, you must put into place what we refer to as the six aspects of a PROVEN™ life. As you do, the tug towards the false intimacy offered by pornography and fantasy will start losing its tight grip.

Our 12 week bible-based self study named, Striving for Absolute Purity, walks you through this transformation process. When combined with attending a small Proven Men support group or meeting weekly with an accountability partner, you can expect to win the daily battles and live out lasting freedom.

It is time to stop relying upon your own strength, and to rely upon the Lord. He wants to stamp you PROVEN, consisting of being:
Passionate for God
Repentant in Spirit
Open and honest
Victorious in living
Eternal in focus
Networking with others.™

The HighQuest: Men on a Mission series is a discipleship training experience that integrates personal reflection on the Scripture and a small group experience.
This series equips men to walk with God for a lifetime by developing the personal practices that are foundational to living a Christ centered life. The major themes of the HighQuest series are:
* Knowing Christ Deeply
* Reflecting Christ Authentically
* Reproducing Christ Intentionally

Pray for Our Ministry!

Greetings,As you probably know by now we are moving to a new building in November. We are so excited about how God directed us to a very cool building. I am thrilled about ministering in the community around the church. Before we even move one box into the building, let's make a commitment that we'll seek God in prayer everyday. Please make this a part of your prayer list. It's so important the we are covered by God's Holy angels as they prepare our way. There will be spiritual warfare. Satan hates that we'll be in an area where the enemy has had his stronghold for many years. He won't give up without a fight. Pray that God will give us a heart and passion for the homeless, addicts, runaways, and children without any good healthy family environment. We don't even know all the ministry that we'll be involved in. At times it may be uncomfortable, but most real ministry is. Let's just see how God leads and follow in faith his promptings. I love you all so much. What an exciting time to be serving in His kingdom. Hope you can help us move our stuff into storage this Saturday. See you in church at the Cook's Kettle Sunday!
Blessings,Pastor Rich
